The Ridgeway Rouleur Sportive has cycling routes for all with 93, 55 and 30 mile options. You’ll cycle through the best of Oxfordshire’s stunning rolling countryside, picturesque villages and iconic landscapes. The Ridgeway is Britain’s oldest road and the route is steeped in history. It presents a mixed terrain allowing you to give your all whilst enjoying the ride for the scenery it offers.

Our £32 sign up fee includes:
- The event entrance fee

Taking part in the Melanoma Focus challenges always has a great supportive team atmosphere. A number of our Trustees will be participating and their passion for the cause is sure to motivate the rest of the field. It’s a great environment for you to achieve something new.
The Ridgeway Rouleur Sportive will be a fully signposted and supported cycling event with:
Mechanical support, medical support, insurance, food stops, electronic chip timing, web results, pick up wagons bike wash, photos, massage and more…
How fit do I need to be to ride the Ridgeway Rouleur Sportive?
If you have cycled before and have good overall fitness, with a special 10 week training plan, you should be ready to take on the 93 or 55 mile route and complete it in good time. If it’s a few years since you got on a bike, then now is the time to get back on! With the 10 week beginner’s training plan you’ll be on track to take on the 30 mile route and earn that Winner’s medal.
New to cycling or prefer to run, walk or swim with friends?
Take a look at our 100 Miles in May challenge. Anyone can take part in this epic event as how, when and where you cover the miles is entirely up to you. This could be the month you decide to ditch the car and cycle, run or walk to work. 4 miles a day or 25 miles each weekend, it’s a great way to raise funds for Melanoma Focus.
