UK MSG: Welcome!
This page contains information for members of the UK Melanoma Study Group and all those who have been using the MSG website. The MSG has now been merged with Melanoma Focus. The following message was sent to members on 28 November:
Dear Colleagues
The UK MSG extraordinary general meeting convened yesterday, and voted unanimously to disband the UK MSG, and to transfer its assets to Melanoma Focus.
Melanoma Focus offers us substantial opportunities to contribute further to meeting the educational needs of healthcare professionals and the public, to develop and embed the Database project in UK clinical practice, to develop clinical guidelines, and to support research. Please do take the time to look at the Melanoma Focus website, and consider how you might help us meet these objectives. We really do need your contribution.
A date for your diary is 26 April 2013. This will be our annual ‘MSG’ type meeting, and is being hosted by Professor David Bates; the venue is central Bristol. The programme looks outstandingly good, and I hope to see as many of you there as possible. See Details
In the meantime, please do give some thought to how we develop Melanoma Focus; it is your charity, and your involvment will be critical to its success.
